Artist’s impressions are really great to do because they tend to be challenging – there’s a lot to wrap your head around.

A very exciting design to do; really love coming up with concepts in 3D.

The architectural illustration for the Robben Island Museum

had me clambering about in what was the bare bones of the building at the time, all concrete and scaffolding, trying to get a sense of its future appearance.

There were a few changes along the way – the architects’ plans were extremely helpful though. I  gratefully acknowledge their contribution of a 3d wireframe drawing of the interior.

A map of Robben Island was also originated at the same time.
