Inspired by the beautiful lines of Japanese art
Japanese usually has a line of a consistent width throughout. Sometimes the lines give way to shapes.
Sometimes a picture straddles more than one style, as in the ‘Winterman’ poem illustrations which are a hybrid mix of three styles. The Japanese collection was a bit sparse, so they moved here.
