Posters

Posters, like wall charts, help to bring life to classrooms every day.

Not only do they add a burst of colour, but they reflect the life and school day of the children themselves. Other uses for posters include informing and advising them of their rights, as in the Children’s Rights poster.

This poster includes the artworks of around sixty primary schoolchildren. The project was run by the Cape Town Child Welfare, and some of the drawings revealed distressing details about the children’s home lives, which could then be addressed by social workers.
